Chris Brown Settles Lawsuit Over Alleged Las Vegas Assault

Nearly two years after Chris Brown allegedly attacked a woman in a Las Vegas hotel room, the singer has settled the lawsuit.

According to TMZ, Brown’s attorneys reached a settlement with Liziane Gutierrez, which included “preliminary talks of $70,000”. However, sources said she made off with “substantially less.”

The exact ammount Gutierrez walked away with is unknown.

She sued Brown in 2016, claiming he assaulted her in his Palms Hotel suite after she tried to take a picture of him during a private party. Gutierrez also alleges that he also confiscated her phone and punched her in the right eye.

Brown was not charged with a crime, and denied the assault allegations. He even claimed that she was “too ugly” to have attended one of his parties.

“Obviously, somebody is looking to get a check or start some sh*t,” Brown said at the time. “I don’t know this old lookin’ bitch. This bitch is old, like dusty, look at her in the Jason Derulo video. Like she came to Vegas, she probably came to my room and was too ugly to get in.”
